What Causes Blurred Vision After A Cataract Surgery?
I have had fluctutating vision since my cataract surgery over 18 months ago. Each day the vision is different- from very blurry (most of the time) to clear a few days a month. I have seen 2 retina specialists, a cornea doctor and a neurlo opthologist. Nob can explain the condition or give a reason. Can you help?
Hello It seems from the history that you have underwent cataract surgery and now you are having fluctuating blurring of vision. The causes for fluctuating vision can be because of corneal edema or because of retinal problems like cystoid macular edema or because of astigmatism induced by surgery.
The other causes are posterior capsular opacification or pre existing diseases like glaucoma.
Hence I advice you to take a second opinion from another eye doctor and discuss with him all the problems definitely you will find a reason.
Thank you
