Hi Doc , my name is Wayne about 12 yrs. ago had a stroke on my right side but they could not find out why .Recently I had a stroke on my left side. They say that there are not surgical options available for the left vertebral artery. My question is every since the stoke I have blurry vision, hearing goes in and out and also tingling in my arm on the left side and headaches everyday. What could possibly be going wrong.
What is your age? It is always related hypertension and diabetes. MRI can be taken, it depends on condition of blood vessel. Accordingly it can happen in either side.
Consult neurosurgeon for assesment and his views to control basic reason of stroke. If it is due to diabetes and hypertention then it is to be controlled.
It appears to be your blury vision is due to central involvment like ocular area in brain. Neurosurgeon can examine and try to find out cause and involvement of cervical. Hard bed to be used. Avoid pillow at bed time, use cervical color.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
