What Causes Blurred Vision After An Eye Injury?

I got hit in the eye with a cord whipping back. My eye went black then blurry. Then after awhile was blurry in spots. I went to sleep and with lights off I see black at bottom of eye. In the light it still slightly blurry. Will heal or do I need to see a doctor

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description, I am of the opinion that Your peripheral field vision and retinal examination is necessary. It is the case of blunt trauma injury to the eye and I would advise you get it checked from a local ophthalmologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
