What Causes Blurred Vision After Taking Hydrochlorothiazide?

I began taking Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg twice a day last Tuesday. I developed blurred vision two days later. Read online at Drugs.com that blurred vision was a side effect of the drug so I stopped taking the medicine on Sunday. Blurred vision continues. I can t read writing or see objects close up. I started getting headaches yesterday. I am worried this is permanent. Difficult to see an eye doctor right now since I am uninsured. Please tell me if this is permanent.
