What Causes Blurred Vision Along With Headaches And Twitching In Eyes?

I was dianosed with bppv 10 years ago and told it would go away. I saw ent today and explained my constant off balance feeling with random sensations of quick vertigo feelings is not bppv after 10 years and he thinks it s neurological. When I walk into stores my vision gets blurry, I feel off balance, and I get anxiety from it. I am extremely fatigued, I have Lowe back and right hip pain/stiffness. Last week I had to stop when going up the steps because my hip locked up. My visions been checks and I wear contacts but it s always blurry. Headaches. Twitching in eyelid and upper lip randomly. I m a 49 year old female thought it was hormonal and have been on natural hormones for 9 months but no change in dizziness, anxiety, fatigue. I keep thinking I have ms I have had 3 mri s almost 5 years and older and all find. Note that I get full blown vertigo if I lay on my right side or lie flat. Could I have ms? I don t know where to turn no one seems to help or dianose me. I tested positive fir 5 igg for lymes but specialist wouldn t see me said no lymes. I m at my wits end

Hope you are fine now.

I can understand your concern. I know it's very stressful when there are symptoms with no diagnosis. It is a common clinical problem that vertigo, most often, there will be no apparent diagnosis. Usually we will treat according to the symptoms and signs. And most often than not the patient will be having the symptoms even after proper medication.

The BPPV is diagnosed with certain clinical criteria involving the positioning and turning of the head in certain angle to provoke the vertigo along with some jerking of the eye ball which only the doctor will notice. In your case, I am taking that the diagnosis os based on that criteria.

The symptoms you are telling can be due to a variety of diseases involving your eyes, heart, brain and muscle. So try to have a complete workup involving the ophthalmologist, Neurologist, Cardiologist and if possible with a Rheumatologist. It is good to know that you are fine clinically rather than living in stress that you have some disease.

Try to have these consultations as early as possible. And Lyme disease can have neurological symptoms. So these encounter with these doctors can rule out that too.
