What Causes Blurred Vision Along With Palpitations?

Three days ago I had an episode similar to a panic attack where my vision went blurry and my heart started racing. I wasn t experiencing any anxiety however. I went to the hospital where they ran an ecg and bloods to make sure it wasn t cardiovascular, nothing registered as anything to worry about, so i was released with no real explanation. I have since felt fairly low on energy and occasionally feel like my heart is fluttering again, though I am not sure if it is or I am over thinking it. These last two days my hands have also smelt like copper or metallic. I have HBP and have recently switched from enalapril-HCL to Olmesartan-HCL to try and combat that. Could these be related?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This sounds like your blood pressure went very low or it could also be due to low hemoglobin levels. This doesn't look like an eye problem. I advise you to consult your primary care physician to rule out these.

Hope it helps.
