What Causes Blurred Vision And Dizziness When Diagnosed With Vestibular Neuritis?
Hi. I have been diagnosed with vestibular neuritis and meniers disease from 2 ENT doctors. Feels like fluid in my head that cones back every two years continuously. I have small little attacks where I am very sensitive to bright lights, have double and blurred vision until the dizziness stops. It lasts a few seconds. I feel weak . tired and cannot concentrate until it passes. It lasts about 3 months then I slowly start feeling better. I suffer with being constantly off balance, and cannot empty my bladder fully. Stabbing pain that comes and goes in my ribs, headaches from behind my eyes to piercing pain in my head, pins and needles in my hand and fingers even when I hold something. Vestibular testing says my ears are clear. Clear MRA and clear lumbar punch. Where do I go now as my balance is still a big problem. Thank you Kausalay
The dizziness with vestibular neuritis indicates multiple level problems ranging from cochlea, internal ear fluid homeostasis and neuronal pathways with neurotransmitters as well as Optometry and audiometry are basic requirements to be sorted out.
In my clinic, after thorough clinical examination for vital parameters and central nervous system signs, ENT evaluation with Weber and Rinnes tests. However, if any of your reports are available with you, kindly share with me during follow up discussion for better guidelines and understanding of the issue.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
