Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
About a month ago I woke up and everything was blurry. It stayed that way most of the day. For the next 3 weeks it felt like there was something in my eye and I feel light headed all the time. My blood pressure went up real high one day ,but it seems to be under control now. I have these headaches everyday and still can t focus very well. I had some blood work done and everything looked good. I had my eyes checked and they were fine. When driving down the road things are still a little blurry?
This could be something simple like anemia or something very serious like blockages in the heart. Call the doctor's office and if there is not a simple explanation like anemia then he needs a full workup on his heart immediately. He would need to have an electrocardiogram and stress test on the heart. Sometimes people with blockages in the heart do not get chest pain they just get short of breath or light headed. If he ever has an episode that does not resolve with rest then he should go immediately to an emergency.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
