What Causes Blurred Vision And Eye Floaters After Cataract Surgery?
2 years ago I had an ICL procedure that has surfaced some side effects beginning last year. I am 22 and now have cataracts in both of my eyes. My doctor says that my cataracts are about on the same level of progression in both my eyes, yet I notice that the blurriness is significantly worse in my right eye. I can no longer read words on my phone or computer with my right eye and I also have an abundance of eye floaters (also in my right eye). I am not diabetic. I just really want to know if this is something besides cataracts because this is affecting my every day life at work and I am getting frustrated that I cant read with one eye.
Cataract at this early stage needs proper workup for the underlying disease. But the symptoms of blurred vision are due to cataract mainly. I would recommend you to consult your ophthalmologist and get his advice as well so cataract removal.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
