What Causes Blurred Vision And Headache?

I am 59 years old female. I take pressure medications. Yesterday at about 10 pm, I was having a feeling like my eyes blurry and a light headache. I quickly took a Baby Aspirin and slept. I was also feeling vomitish, my right side leg and arm nub. No chest pain. I feel a bit better now, but weak. Please help me doctor, as to what to do if I get this type of symptoms again.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Head injury, stroke, low blood sugar, and high blood pressure can all cause the symptoms of blurred vision. Also, various eye diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, or macular degeneration, can cause the vision to become blurry. People who have astigmatism, peripheral neuropathy, corneal abrasion, conjunctivitis, or brain aneurysm can experience this as well. Blurred vision is also one of the most common symptoms of migraines.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

Do yoga and meditation. Please consult your neurophysician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
