Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Blurred Vision And Neck Pain While Turning?
I have been feeling so weird the last 3 days. I feel fuzziness in my head and somewhat blurred vision. My neck also hurts when I turn it to the left causing my eyes hard to focus when I move my head back forward. I don t know if this is a vision issue or something I should go to the doctor for. I feel extreemly uncomfortable driving, especially at night. It is hard to explain how I am feeling but all my symptoms and in my head and neck.
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
Having blurred vision and neck pain while turning are suggestive for spondiloarthrosis of the neck area. X-ray of neck is advised to further evaluate it.
Neurologist examination is advised to rule out further neurological issues.
For the moment, I advise to: - apply warm compresses locally - apply analgesic cream locally - take analgesic medications orally like ibuprofen, mephenamic acid
All the best!
