What Causes Blurred Vision And Red Eyes In The Morning?

I wake up in the mornings sometimes and my eyes either one or both are blood red and I try to look at the clock to see the time and it is a complete blurr. I lay back down for a few mins. and try again eventually I can see. But my eyes or eyes are red and hurt. Some tearing not allot. Why is this happening to me?

What is your age? refraction is required then correction should be taken. If there is dry eye then artificial tear drop like refresh tear drop should be used.
