What Causes Blurred Vision In The Morning?

When I wake up in the morning, my vision is blurry almost black, if I cover one eye I can see and when I cover the other eye all I see are shadows, after 3-5 min my vision normalizes, this happens without me having gotten out of bed....I went to the oftalmologist, she said my eyes were ok....

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having blurred vision in the morning which is transient and lasts only for few minutes.
This is probably because of transient ischemia. The common causes are hypotension, hypovolemia, hypoglycemia or because of amaurosis fugax.
Hence I advice you to consult your physician once to rule out these conditions.

Thank you
