What Causes Blurred Vision While Suffering From Atrial Fibrillation?

My mother has experienced a-fib for a few years. Yesterday, she had an episode in which her eyesight was affected. She described it as something blocking her sight for a short while. It subsided and she seems okay today, although the a-fib is not entirely gone yet.
Are they related?

it can be central venous thrombosis effecting branch and retinal hole tear or peripheral detachment may be senile macular degeneration or transieant ischeimia or postural hypotention.fundus examination is requered.
