Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Blurring of vision along with matted and accumulation of sticky fluid in eyes occurs in infection, inflammation like conjunctivitis, blepharitis, iis etc.rit
A history of astigmatism s probably the underlying cause.
Uncorrected refractive error has led to tiredness and irritation of eye muscles leading to frequent rubbing.
Frequent rubbing has caused infection and inflammation and thus accumulation of sticky discharge in the eyes.
I suggest you to consult your ophthalmologist for clinical assessment and thus treatment of both infection and refractive error.

Thanks and take care
