What Causes Blurred Vision?

Coworker has recently gotten blurred distance vision. On oral meds for diabetes for years, no regular readings are made. Last monitor readings were in 2014, ranged in low 100 s with highest at 136. Todays readings were 536 and retest at 523. Does this indicate an EMERGENCY? or just a regular Dr. Visit tomorrow?

hi
this is a matter of concern and you should take him to the opthalmologist asap
Being a diabetes patient for years , he might have got some eye changes since diabetesy does affect the eye
you should have got a regular eye check up done 5 yearly depending on the results
but since he's getting a blurred vision , I suggest you go to then opthalmologist and check for retinal changes .
continue the diabetes medication
get a blood sugar fasting and post prandial done as well
Regards
