HI I am asking for my boyfriend, we found a tick on him this past Friday the tick has bit but was removed and we put medicine on it but the next day he started feeling achy.. and has been that way since although he is not running a fever. Do you think it could be from the tick

Yes tick bites are known to cause swelling & itching.
Apply lotio calamina, ice locally & any anti-histamine ointment locally.
He will be fine in a day or so. If itching is severe a tablet of cetrizine at night will cure him.
