What Causes Body Ache After Consuming Alcohol?

OK so I drink monsters often, like two a week, but lately every time I drank one some part of my body will hurt. Once it was my chest, another time it was my arm, and this time it is my leg. I have a lot of allergies but I was never allergic to any food or drink. But that was when I was 10 and they said I may grow into some and grow out of others. Could I be allergic to something in it? Or is there something in monsters that do this?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to allergic reactions like disulphiram reaction. As first-line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
