What Causes Body Ache Along With Palpitations And Muscle Weakness?

Hurt from head to toe. Legs ache all the time. Muscle weakness. Palpitations random. My doctor diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. Started lyrica. Then ended up with peripheral edema. Took my first Cymbalta today. Ended up with flu like symptoms. Could all of this hormone related? Right ovary had to be removed with appendix. This sent me in to menopause at the age of 43

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of palpitations and flushes are due to hormonal changes post-ovarectomy. However, as the hormones can affect all the body, this explains the leg aches and muscle weakness. Take magnesium supplement for that.

Take primrose oil for hormonal imbalance symptoms. Take calcium and vit.D supplement for the joint care.

Keep regular follow ups with bone specialist.

All the best.
