My husband is experiencing body aches (mostly in the morning), extreme anxiety, and a strong feeling of hunger - yet he is eating he has type 2 diabetes but has been removed from his medication because he has recently lost so much weight. what in the world is wrong with him? these symptoms are chronic and debilitating....
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your husband has lost weight, get CBC, Urinalysis & Imaging tests done because he needs to be examined to screen out diseases like COPD, cancer, celiac disease, Crohn's disease, etc. Observe him, give him nutritious food for sometimes weight loss can occur due to lack of adequate nutrition. Anxiety, distress, stress, uneasiness & fear for day to day life & tensions, social phobias can cause such Psychosomatic symptoms. You may have to see a Psychiatrist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K.
