What Causes Body Ache Along With Sore Throat And Fever?

I have been getting sick every 3 weeks since December. This is my 4th round. Weak, body aches, sore throat I can barely swallow and can t eat. Fever and my skin hurts so badly. This morning I went to blow my nose and piece of tissue looks like from my throat came onto the napkin. It s about the size of a quarter. Any suggestions?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It could be URTI associated with strep throat.

Consult a general practitioner and start a short course of antibiotics.

Do warm saline gargles and you can take antihistamines like Cetirizine for symptomatic relief.

Nothing much to worry and your symptoms will settle in a couple of days with supportive treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
