What Causes Body Ache And Sore Throat?

I feel a bit achy and have a slight sore and scratchy throat and my mount seem to be drooling, meaning I have extra water in my mouth and want to split out. I don’t think I have a cold since I am not coughing. I had my flu shot about a week ago. I was traveling recently, airline trip on Sunday and return on Tuesday. It been since Wednesday that have felt this way. The cough I do have I believe is more due to the irritation of my throat. Oh a low grade headache.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Based on the symptoms mentioned, you may have a viral illness, the cold virus.
The flu is normally associated with more severe symptoms.

The use of a decongestant/antihistamine combination would help, it would reduce any secretions to the back of the throat which would reduce the cough.

I hope this helps
