Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Body Ache, Increase In Temperature And Stomach Pain?
Hello, I would like to know why I become instantly unwell when approx 12 hours have passed and I have not opened my bowels or unable to pass wind. My symptoms begin with body aches, increase in temperature, stomach pain and as a result I faint. Please advise of what may be causing this. Is it related to intestines, stomach, bowel or other part of my body. Thank you. Irena
I would advise you to immediately go to the ER and get an abdominal ultrasound done. According to my knowledge this seems to be a case of acute appendicitis, since you have fever, abdominal pain, constipation. Since you are having fainting episode, please take a friend or a family member with you and also take paracetamol for fever.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Hiba Tehrim, General & Family Physician
