What Causes Body Ache, puffy Eyes And Swollen Glands After Unprotected Sex?

Hi I'm feeling very sick my glands are swollen my body aches and now my eyes have puffy green yellow skin below them. I've looked up my symptoms and all signs point to mono but I had it in fourth grade and didn't think I could get it again. I recently (this weekend) had unprotected sex with my boyfriend for the first time is it possible I could have caught an std from him?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Sexually transmitted infections usually lead to symptoms like ulcer on the genitalia, discharge, itching, lymph node enlargement etc.
Enlargement of glands, body aches and puffy eyes are not characteristic of any sexually transmitted disease.
Instead these symptoms are suggestive of viral infection and not specific for any STD.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus treatment.

Thanks and take care
