What Causes Body Aches Along With Elevated Body Temperature At Night-time?
26 year female. Between 9pm and 9am I have a tempurature of 100f with exsesive body aches. During the day my temperature is 96.3f (I tend to run cold but usually 97f) and I feel mostly fine. I have swollen cervical lymph nodes on the left with no signs of a throat or ear infection(no pus, redness or pain). I have had a history of intermitent hyperthyroidism, but I usually get a mild goiter which I am not experiencing. Basically, for the last 3 days, I feel like I get the flu/cold each night and am fine during the day, is this likely viral to clear up on its own or should I have it looked at?
Acute viral infections with or without bacterial involvement usually present with various fever patterns and body ache. I would recommend to: - Consume more liquids - Gargles with salted lukewarm water added peppermint oil - Prescription of antibiotics with anti inflammatory medications from your doc
