What Causes Body Chills Along With Joint Pain And Cough?

Ok. I had flu symptoms since last Saturday, its been a week but seem to never end. These symptoms are: chills, body aches, joint aches, zero energy, coughing, and distressed breathing, no appetite for food, and if I eat a half of apple or banana before I take the 1000 mg of Amoxicillin, I cannot keep anything down. On Monday, I went to the doctor and I got prescribed Prednisone, 20 mg/pill, Amox 500/2 every 12 hours, and Albuterol inhaler. I never smoked. I make a point to eat raw, organic, mostly fruits and vegetables. For the past 4 days/nights I have experienced difficulty breathing, crackling sounds from my lungs.

Hi,

It us due to respiratory tract infection that you have all those signs and symptoms. As you have started taking medicines for that continue for one week. If however there is no relief you need to report emergency room for chest radiograph and blood tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
