What Causes Body Chills And Bumps On The Scalp?

I started feeling week and with chills ( fever) Monday I tough was the flu but I felt 2 bumps in my hair scalp in the lower part by the neck , Yesterday my doctor prescribed levofloxacin but I don t know if the treatment is going to be long or the medicine is goin to take time to work , because even that started yesterday I don t feel any results yet

Hello,

Infections, including viral infections of the head and neck such as the flu, can lead to bumps in the neck. These are lymph nodes.

If your doctor suspects a bacterial infection, you should have antibiotics. If it is viral, antibiotics will not help.
