What Causes Body Chills And Fever After An Endoscopy?

I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy today around 2:00.... was very cold all evening and just now decided to take my temperature. It is 101.6( I took it twice w/ same results) .... no other symptoms though.... do you think it would be ok to take 2 Bauer aspirins and see if I can avoid the emergency room.... if it goes down do you think that s sufficient till morning when I can get a hold of the gastro doc?

Hi,

You can Paracetamol or Acetaminophen for fever.

If fever persists, better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
