What Causes Body Chills, fatigue And Nausea?

My husband is having chills and feeling very fatigued, generally out of it. This came on out of nowhere--he played golf this morning and was fine. He only had a protein bar to eat today (before golf), but he feels slightly nauseous and doesn t think he could eat anything else. I can t get him to let me take his temperature. :( But he is moaning and groaning on the couch and I am worried!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thankyou for writing in to HCM.

Your husband is most likely coming down with a viral fever. If he isint allowing you to record his temperature then simply place the back of ur hand on his forehead and see if it feels warm. Then he most likely has a fever. Give him paracetamol 500mg which can be repeated 4-6 hrly to keep the fever at bay. If the fever persists for more than 2/3 days pls take him to your physician for blood tests.
