What Causes Body Discomfort?

I had pleurisy and pneumonia in February , was treated with antibiotics and an x ray end of March must have been clear as I have not heard anything since. I am however experiencing discomfort in the area where I had the problem .i am active and very busy. Will this problem rectify itself in time?

Hello
Presuming that you are talking February 2014 and took treatment almost for 2 months ( according to your query).
You were a patient of pleurisy and pneumonia i.e. treatment must be continue till now .
Because usually the cause of pleurisy is tuberculosis , however there are other causes also . But when we found such type of case we advise them to take full course of tuberculosis for 6 - 9 months depending upon the condition of patient and severity of disease .
However pneumonia can be treated within 14-28 days depending upon the causative organism.
As you mentioned that still you are feeling discomfort in that region , so I recommend you please get in one more X RAY of the effected part ( chest pa view).
Also get in blood for C B C, E S R .
I recommend you please consult Chest & tuberculosis specialist and get his opinion.
