What Causes Body Itching And Rashes On The Arms And Legs?

My body has been itching for the past 5 weeks. Started on a road trip to Montana....thought I had little bed bug bites, but am still getting little tiny bite like things especially on my legs and arms.....turn crusty. Went to doctor who put me on prednisone for 6 days....no itching for that week. But came back. Went to dermo....he had no clue...gave me cortisone cream. helps for a while. Still itching and still getting new little tiny things on skin that really do look like little bites. Starting to go a bit crazy with the itchy.
