What Causes Body Pain And Constant Headache After Shoulder Stabilization Surgery?

My son is 15 and 6ft 1 with a little more growth to go. He had a shoulder stabilization surgery done 3 weeks ago, the surgeon has ok'd everything and he is healing. At the moment he has broncitus and the doc has put him on amoxylin, the cough seems to be getting better however he is constantly complaining of darting pains throughout his body and a constant headache. sunlight , tv etc don't bother him , he can put his head to his chest and can walk a straight line. No real fever to mention. I don't know if it delayed depression due to the shoulder op or pains from growth or the broncitus. What do you suggest his doctor is not available for another week.
