What Causes Body Pain, Sweating And Soreness In Throat?

Hi,i m on my third day of having sweats and aches, have a sore throat but it feels like its at the bottom of my neck not actually the back of my throat. I can t sleep because of the shivers and sweating and have completely lost my voice. Should i go see a doctor?

Thank you for your query.
It seems that may have Laryngitis (infection of the voice box).
3 days of shivers and aches indicates a likely bacterial infection.

I would suggest antibiotics, antipyretics (to reduce fever), pain killers (district gargle), voice rest and plenty of fluids.
I recommend seeing your physician as you will need a prescription for the above.
In the meantime, drink plenty of warm fluids, gargle with warm saline water, try to rest your voice (do not strain to talk), plenty of rest.
Take some vitamin C, either as supplement or In food (helps to heal and fight infection). If you have gastritis, skip the vitamin C.
