What Causes Body Rashes After Taking Diclofenac?

At 3:30 this afternoon, I took for the first time Diclofenac sod dr 75mg. It is now 7>00 P.M. and after having a cup of coffee, I broke out in hives ! I know I am elergic to MSG that is put on packaged cold cuts to preserve it.
My question is could I be allergic to this new medication that has been given to me to reduce inflammation and pain . I fell and evidently hurt my hamstring up the back uf my right leg from back of knee to buttocks.
According to my doctor I did not break anything. I can not get in touch with her now. he only way I can get relief now is to take Benadryl to stop the itching and swelling of the hives. I AM SUPPOSED TO TAKE 2 dICLOFENAC A DAY AND NEED ADVISE. tHANK-YOU
