What Causes Body Swelling In A Hypertensive And A Diabetic Person?

sir, my father is having high bp(190) & chronic sugar. He is using insulane. from past few days entire body got swelling. a doctor suggested to go for 24 urine test. the result: 24HRS Urine Protein 6GSM. and 24 HRS Urine Volume 2500ml. Please suggest what we to do now

Hello sir,
The normal 24hour urine protein in less than 100microgram. Body swelling and increased urine proteins indicates that kidney has started compromising. Please get Fasting and post prandial blood sugar, HbA1c and serum creatinine ans urea. Strict control of blood sugar and dietary maodification inform of slat restriction, exercise and yoga will definitely play a great role.
