Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Unprotected vaginal and oral sex with a commercial sex worker (CSW) constitutes a high risk sexual contact.
The non-specific symptoms that you currently experience on the second day after sexual contact are likely to be unrelated to an STD and seems most probably a part of a flu like illness.
All the major STD's like HIV, syphilis, herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia, warts, molluscum etc can be transmitted through unprotected sex.
Since STI's may not present with signs Or symptoms immediately after a risky sexual encounter, therefore, I would suggest you to get tested for STI's at appropriate intervals.
Screening for HIV and Syphilis (VDRL) can be earliest at 1 month and this should be repeated after 3 months to cover for the window period of HIV and incubation period of syphilis.
Herpes can be tested by an ELISA test for HSV type 1 and 2, at 2 weeks.
Moreover if you develop and signs or symptoms of STI's like urethral discharge, burning sensation on passing urine, ulcers or erosions, warts or growths in the genital area, you should immediately see specialist.

Regards
Always practice safe sex with a condom!!
