Dear Sir/ ma'm,
Here is the answer for your question. Boil is an infection of the hair follicle. They are common in the areas where there is increased hair and sweating. Occurs because of decreased aeration in the region. Deep shaving also causes this. The ointment you use is the one which softens and decreases the pain. An antibiotic ointment like nadifloxacin is preferred to ichthammoll. I would also recommend to wear loose garments. Kindly get back for further info and give rating if you find this answer worthy
