What Causes Boils On The Nipples?

Please I noticed I always have small boils on my left nipple. What could be the cause of this and how can it be treated once and for all. Sometimes when it happens I scratch it and apply powder then it goes off and only to resurface in another month. Please what should I do?

Hello,

It may be due to furuncle.

For that you may require antibiotics after surgeon consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

In case of discharge you may require discharge culture after surgeon consultation.

Maintain proper hygiene and avoid sweating.
