General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* When the cause of bone pain is separate from vitamin D deficiency, taking vitamin D will not help in such a case.

* There can be issues with calcium-sensing receptors, parathyroid glands, intestine or kidneys which can cause such issues.

* Kindly revert back with all your reports as scanned copies in follow up session for best possible evaluation and guidelines ahead.

Till the time being approach, you can take tablet paracetamol ( 650 mg ) 3 times a day after meals for better pain relief with heating pad application over the concerned part of backside.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
