What Causes Bone Sticking At End Of Rib Cage In Between?

Hello, My son Ryan is 3 months old and I have noticed a bone sticking out in the middle of his chest..between his rib cages towards the bottom of his rib cage, i'm not sure if it's normal or not. It seems like it sticks out more when he wiggles around and cries.
