What Causes Brain Aneurysm On My Left Side?

I have a brain aneurysm on my left side . I have been having pain behind the ear, and ear ache. Could this be a sign that it is growing? I hate to have another CT Scan if I don't need it right away. I will be having one annually to check on it, to see if I need coil surgery, but not for a long time again.
