What Causes Brain Injury?

hello, over a year ago my daughter broke her neck and had a concussion. She has been struggling with the concussion symptoms ever sense. We are going to vistibular pt, taking meds and seeing a concussion specialist. Recently she started her period and it lasted 3 almost 4 weeks. We went to a gyn. They took blood, now it seems on top of everyithing her prolactin level is very high. Could this have anything to do with her brain injury? I have a history of high prolactin levels as well, due to a small endenoma on my pituitary glad. Is this just genetric? Sorry, I've seen so many dr. I just want to make sure these two issues are not related.
