What Causes Breast Discharge Despite Taking Dostinex?

Please write your question here..i have had breast discharge for like four yrs now.i ve tried dostinex, four bottles under less than two months, but to no avail.i went for a hormonal test nd my result shows that my prolactin is normal.pls what else can I take.tanz

Breast discharge could be due to infections,tumour like growth or hormonal reasons.All these causes should be ruled out.Since the hormonal levels are normal,histopathological examination and culture and sensitivity of the discharge should be done.

Intraductal papilloma.These are noncancerous growths in the ducts of the breast. They are the most common reason women experience abnormal nipple discharge. When they become inflamed, intraductal papillomas may result in nipple discharge that contains blood or is sticky in texture.
