I am experiencing some pain just above my left breast, heaviness and stiffness in my left arm, and shoulder, when I lean my neck forward it seems a little stiff. I have had an MRI that states I have a right rotary cuff shoulder tear, I am also a type 1 diabetic for 45 years, I am 55 years old. I just want to know are these heart attack symptoms? I didn t realize this was a pay for service... sorry I am unable to pay. Thanks anyway

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The pain or probably be associated with musculoskeletal causes like rotator cuff injury.

You can try over the counter available analgesics like paracetamol for pain relief. In severe cases surgical correction is required.

Consult an orthopedic and he will direct you accordingly. Arthroscopic repair will be needed in certain cases.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
