What Causes Breast Tenderness, Nausea, Severe Abdominal And Pelvic Cramps?

I had unprotected sex with my partner and he ejaculated inside me. My cycle was set to start shortly a week after that. It came over 1.5 weeks late, lasted only 2 days, and was really light. For 3 days after that I had this pinkish maroonish light discharge. I ve taken over 6 hot that were negative. I have been having severe abdominal and pelvic cramping, breast tenderness and discharge, pain in my vaginal canal, white discharge, nausea, extreme fatigue and have been falling asleep everywhere. Is there a chance that I m pregnant or could this be some other medical issue

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is possible that you could be pregnant, especially since you had unprotected sex and experienced a delay in your menstrual cycle along with other symptoms such as breast tenderness, nausea, and fatigue. However, it is also possible that these symptoms could be caused by other medical issues.

Some potential causes of breast tenderness and abdominal and pelvic cramping include premenstrual syndrome (PMS), ovarian cysts, endometriosis, or pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). In addition, vaginal pain and discharge could be indicative of a vaginal infection such as bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection.

It is important to schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider to discuss your symptoms and undergo further testing. Your provider may order a pregnancy test and additional tests such as a pelvic exam, blood work, or imaging tests to determine the cause of your symptoms. They may also recommend treatments such as antibiotics for potential infection, pain management for cramping, or hormonal therapies for PMS or other reproductive issues.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
