General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Duoluton is an oral contraceptive pill that may as well be used for menstrual irregularities as it contains both estrogen and progesterone.Result on this pill for menstrual irregularities is good.It may however give you side effects similar to what you are presenting(breast tenderness) and others especially in the early months of use.Your body is however expected to adapt within a few months. If the symptoms persist, a chat with the Doctor when you are able to afford will be good and a change of pill may be considered.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
