What Causes Breathing Difficulties With Hard Phlegm?

Since last one or to months I am getting trouble to breath properly especially in the night while I sleep. My great problem is that I feel my respiraterly system is full of hard plhem so that I cannot breath properly. I went to doctor bu he is telling me that I am suffering with the allergy. Please suggest some remedy . Thank you so much.

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done PFT. As night time breathing difficulty with hard sputum for almost 2 years can be seen in bronchitis. And simple anti allergic drugs will not help to cure you completely. So I insist you to consult pulmonologist and rule out bronchitis. Bronchitis needs antibiotics, inhaled bronchodilators, antihistamines etc.
