What Causes Breathing Difficulty After Induced Vomiting?

hi, I induced vomiting (I m not bulimic I was just feeling nauseous and wanted t get it over with) and now I m having trouble breathing. Is it possible I aspired food particles into my lungs? can I get pneumonia from this? and if I go to the hospital, will the doctors know what it s from? It s kind of embarrassing and I don t want to have to explain it.

Hi,Welcome to the HCM
Since induced voimting can cause aspiration and it can cause lung infection and pneumonia. It is possible that you have aspirated some food particles.Get a xray chest done first ,if it is causing cough. If you get fever also you may need antibiotic course for 1 to 2 weeks after discussing with doctor.
