What Causes Breathing Difficulty Along With Acid Reflux?
I have trouble breathing. I have mucous and bad taste in my mouth and burped acid today. been told I have laryngeal-pharyngeal acid reflux, but wondered if it could have symptoms of congestion? I sleep upright in a recliner. I m allergic to Prilosec and other heartburn meds. I can t take those. I work with diet only. I just can t sleep because of difficulty breathing. My email isn t working as it doesn t accept the passwords for the address. Is difficulty breathing a symptom of acid reflux?

I think in your case yes it's related to uncontrollable acid reflux.
Immediate treatment to start. Take antacids after meals.
Try to avoid foods and drinks that might aggravate the symptoms.
I think should get a physical examination by your doctor to rule out aspirative pneumonia/bronchitis.
