What Causes Breathing Difficulty And Increased Body Temperature After Taking Medication?

hi I ve been experience fever around 38.5 celsius to 38 degree celsius, everytime after i take some medicine, it cools down and few hours later it occurs it again, I have been also experience breathing problems on my chest, i don t have asthma or anything, the doctors said i have influenza but it s been around 5 days now, i don t know what i have. Please help.

Hello,

I agree with your doctor as I also feel this a case of influenza. It takes around 2 weeks to recover properly from this. Hence, I would advise you to keep taking paracetamol for fever, rest well, stay hydrated and nebulize twice day for clear airways. Also, keep a pulse oximeter with you so can keep checking your oxygen saturation and if it falls below 90 you should visit your doctor immediately. Once you get better i would also suggest you to get influenza shots.

Hi,

It seems like you are having allergic reaction to this medicine, you have to discontinue it, if having breathing problem you should immediately visit nearby health facility. They will give you anti-allergic or steroids if needed.
